Corporate Day Success!

This week our students had the chance to take part in another fantastic Corporate Day, and the engagement was outstanding.

There were plenty of questions, great discussions and a real eagerness to learn more about what employers expect from new security officers entering the industry.

From interview tips and professional presentation to understanding different areas of security work, our students showed they're serious about preparing for their future careers.

At AET, we're focused on helping students become not just qualified, but job-ready.

Thinking about making a career change?

Our next Security Operations (CPP20218) intake is approaching and we'd love to help you take that first step.

A packed classroom and a fresh new intake at AET! 👏

It’s fantastic to see one of our biggest groups in a while kick off their Security Operations (CPP20218) journey with us.

One of the best things about this intake is the diversity in the room; different ages, backgrounds, experiences and motivations, all coming together to challenge themselves and start something new.

Over the next few weeks, these students will be building the skills and confidence needed to step into the security industry and prepare for exciting new opportunities ahead.

Welcome to the AET family everyone!

That’s a wrap on another AET intake!

Our April Security Operations group has officially completed their 20 days of training and what a great group they’ve been.

The Defensive Tactics classes were a huge hit, with students really getting involved, building confidence and pushing themselves through the practical components.

Now comes the exciting next step: licence applications, fingerprinting and starting new career pathways within the security industry.

Congratulations to the whole class and welcome to the next chapter!

Last week’s Corporate Day was all about getting job ready!

Our students came in engaged, full of questions, and ready to learn how to put their best foot forward; from interview tips to employer expectations and how to stand out when they’re just starting out.

They also explored the many areas of security, including hospitals, control rooms, patrols and asset protection.

A great day with a group clearly ready for what’s ahead for our CPP20218 Cert II group!

A great Batons & Cuffs (CPPSS00059) class wrapped up at AET, with a strong group of participants who really gave it their all from start to finish.

It was fantastic to see such a high level of engagement throughout the course, with students keen to expand their skill sets and make the most of both the classroom learning and the practical components.

We received great feedback from the class, with many participants commenting on how much they valued the hands-on nature of the training and the chance to really get stuck in.

A big well done to everyone involved for the energy, focus, and effort they brought across the program.

A busy season is underway here at AET as our April intake begins today.

With Batons & Cuffs training not far behind, it’s an exciting time to welcome another new group of students into the classroom. Each intake brings together people from different backgrounds, with different motivations, but all with the same goal — to start something new in a growing and varied industry.

Over the coming weeks, these students will begin building the foundations needed for the security industry, learning from a range of sources and developing the skills, mindset, and confidence required to take the next step.

We’re looking forward to seeing this group settle in, grow, and get started on their journey.

Corporate Day was all about helping students get job ready in a real and practical way.

At AET, we know that preparing students for work means more than completing the course. It also means giving them the chance to hear from staff with employer insight and HR experience about how to approach interviews, what mindset to bring, and what challenges jobseekers are facing in the current market.

These sessions help students better understand:

how to present themselves as a new security officer
what employers expect
how to approach interviews with more confidence
the realities of the modern job market

A great day of learning and preparation for the next step ahead.
