🍪 Busy Little Bakers at Kids Cove!
Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy in the kitchen making some of their favourite treats. From sifting and mixing to pouring and rolling, they’ve loved getting hands-on with every part of the process.
These baking experiences are not only full of sensory fun - they also build early maths skills, fine motor development, and confidence.
Although they’ve enjoyed each step… their favourite part is definitely the eating! 😋💛

We love messy play! 😄 This super simple activity of rescuing sea animals and finding hidden treasures was so much fun and full of learning. The kids used their creativity, teamwork, and fine motor skills, all while having a blast getting messy! 🐠❄️

Our little farmers had a blast exploring farm life! They kicked off with farm themed role play, feeding toy animals and caring for their mini farm. Then we headed to visit a real farm, feeding animals, spotting tractors, and soaking in all the sights and sounds of farm life! 🐖🐓🌿

💕 A Whole Lot of Love (and Sweets!) at Kids Cove! 🍭💖
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been celebrating love and kindness with our pretend sweet shop and baking fun! Inspired by Valentine’s Day, the children had lots of fun serving up delicious treats in our play shop and decorating real treats to share with the special people in our lives. 🍫🎂
As we baked and played, we spoke about what love means, the people who make us happy, and the little ways we show kindness. 💕 Through these experiences, we learned that love isn’t just something we feel- it’s something we can show through kindness, thoughtfulness, and the joy of giving. ❤️
