CENA Pulse Point: Positioning matters during defibrillation.

Standing to the side of the defib - not directly in front - allows you to see both the monitor and the patient at the same time, allows the team leader to more easily view the rhythm, and reduces delays to defibrillation. Faster, safer defibrillation means shorter CPR interruptions, one of the most important principles in high‑quality resuscitation.
