She holds a Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance) from the University of Melbourne, where she studied under the esteemed tutelage of Igor Machlak.

Jo specializes in teaching young children and adults, utilizing extensive experience in adaptive techniques to support diverse learning needs. Her pedagogical approach balances leisure-based learning with formal examination pathways, maintaining a proven track record where 90-95% of her students achieve A to A+ results in AMEB examinations.
