This is James and our director Joel. James and Joel both attended school at Carey Grammar, both barack for the Geelong Cats and have similar tastes in music. James however has a serious Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) which he incurred from a cowards punch in 2006.
Joel works at the rehabilitation house where James lives, and this year he is running his first ever half marathon and doing it in support of the JMB Foundation. The JMB Foundation was set up to support people like James who live with a serious ABI.
YOU can sponsor Joel, and in return he have a treat for YOU. If he reaches $500 by 8pm AEST on Thursday the 20th of August, he will ski in NZ in his jocks on Friday and post video proof!

So head along to the link below to read more about the amazing work of the JMB Foundation and sponsor Joel.

Today is R U OK Day and we thought this graphic our friends at made for World Su***de Prevention Day was pretty fitting.

We talk a lot about having a story and how important individual lives are and we love seeing others spreading the same message, however there are still people who still feel alone.

Today is a reminder to tell the ones you love that you love them. Whether it's a phone call, catching up over coffee or a simple text. Let others know that they're not alone. That despite the ups and downs of life, they have support and that it'll all be ok.

No one else can play your part and that is a beautiful thing.

Today is R U OK day. Today, like everyday is an opportunity to ask someone how they are doing, and allow the space to hear the real answer. Never under estimate the impact this could have!

You matter very much!

Our hearts go out to the Williams family today with the sad passing of Robin. He was so many things to so many people, but ultimately a father, husband, son and friend. Dearly missed but never forgotten.

If you would like to talk more about this tragic passing, we encourage you to call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
