Say hello to ATELIER COLLARTS: COLLCEPT, a concept store, exhibition and live atelier program taking over Fractal Gallery for two days, all designed and delivered by our Fashion staff, students, and alumni ✨ 

Opening night features an industry panel on scaling sustainable fashion with Australian Ethically Designed Clothing & Accessories and Thread Together plus film screenings, drinks and open retail 🍿  
 
Saturday brings free retail trading and two hands-on workshops: Healing Stitch Mending with 2026 grad Callum Amor of Amend Amor and Creative Wearable with our Fashion & Sustainability faculty 🧵

Ibsen's political fire, Mozart sung inside a mental health ward, and a three person spy farce with 60+ characters between them 🎭

Massive congrats to our incredible directors and performers, who brought An Enemy of the People, Cosí and The 39 Steps to life across a jam packed trimester 👏

And an equally huge shoutout to everyone who worked behind the scenes: our designers, stage managers, sound and lighting crews included, who made every single one of these shows come together perfectly 🙌

Big news! We're thrilled to be partnering with Melbourne Fashion Week for a sixth year, continuing a long-standing collaboration that shines a spotlight on emerging fashion talent 👠

From 19 - 25 October, M/FW takes over the city with a week of runways, exhibitions, panels and workshops, and we can't wait to be part of it.

This year's theme is 'Wear the Moment', a celebration of self-expression and creativity, on and beyond the runway. It's bold, inclusive and unapologetically fashion forward, exactly the energy we back at Collarts.

We're also proud to present M/FW Conversations, with industry experts exploring a range of topics like growing your own fashion business, as well as Atelier Collarts: Collcept, which fuses a sustainable fashion concept store, exhibition and live atelier into a 2-day event 🙌

We're so proud of 'Bub' and the whole team behind it 👏🎬

Written, produced and directed by Collarts alum Abbey Hastings, 'Bub' has landed FIVE nominations at the Young Australian Film Festival, and every single one is a reflection of the incredible work this team put in. On top of that, the short film is premiering tonight as part of the YAFF Opening Night at IMAX!

'Bub' is nominated for:
• Exceptional Directing
• Excellence in Writing
• Groundbreaking Women in Film
• Incredible Youth Acting for BOTH Florence Webster + Charli Penton

From the cast to the crew, this project brought together an amazing group of Collarts talent and collaborators, and seeing their work recognised on this stage means everything.
