6 weeks - 1 yr old Nursery room 1 (Rockpools room)
The children in the Rockpool’s room enjoyed a food safe finger painting experience. The children were presented with different colours and were encouraged to explore using their hands and fingers. The children used the palm of their hands and the tips of their fingers to explore.
The children watched as the slimy paint ran off their finger tips and dribbled back down to the tray. This activity helps the children to develop their curiosity and develop their sensory exploration through touch, taste and visual sensors.
