It was fantastic to see our grade 3-6s having a go at our athletics carnival this week. Thanks to John for organising, and our staff and parent volunteers for helping the day run so smoothly!

It's Bentleigh Farmers Market time this Saturday at East Bentleigh Primary School.

Simply Lentils returns with their Indian inspired dishes made from Australian lentils.
And Doron Citrus will be there with his brand new variety "Yellow Orange". Sweet and easy to peel. Be one of the 1st to try them (perfect to ward off those winter colds).

Plus loads of fresh, seasonal produce. Come down, grab a coffee and stock up for the week.

On 26th July, the Grade 6 boys represented EBPS at the Victorian Futsal Tournament.

They won the Grand Final 5-1, being crowned the Under 12 Victorian School Futsal Champions! The victory also secures the team's place at the National Championships, held in QLD later this year! Well done!

Our Girls AFL team participated in the Kingston Division Finals at Bonbeach Reserve. The day started well with Malvern Primary School not turning up, allowing us a victory via forfeit.

Next was against a powerful Mentone Grammar team. We had a slow start, but goals from Liesel and Milla pulled the game back at halftime. Mentone ended as convincing winners by 5 goals.

Carrum Primary was our next opponent. We had a great start, kicking 3 goals to 1 with Yasmine, Milla and Liesel hitting the scoreboard. Carrum had a strong 2nd half, but we hung on to record an exciting 4 point win.

Well done to the girls for their efforts and playing in the right spirit; many were playing AFL for the first time.

What a beautiful way to finish out the term! Our Winter Festival was filled with singing, soup and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who attended, and a special thanks to our staff and parent volunteers.
