📖Fluency pairs - The Reading strategy I wish I tried sooner ! Partner reading has been a total game changer in my classroom the past few years!

Here’s what’s working for us :
-Use decodable texts/ passages / word strips
- Teach expectations explicitly
- Model how to give feedback

This routine has improved my kids fluency and confidence and it always does. We only started it this week , because my lil mates have been a bit slower to pick up their blending and now they are ready!

🪼🐠 What a BIG day for our preppies 6 hour return trip on the bus for 2 hours at the Aquarium BUT it was definitely worth seeing their excitement, to a place they may never get to go to otherwise. Just a bunch of Wally’s 😅 Book Week 25, the majority of staff dressed up as Where’s Wally and the kids loved it. Kept asking , but wait how did that happen ? are you all the same? How did you find the same outfit? 🤣 Always a good time 📚
