π Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the STEM Curious team from the Melbourne Museum at SpringKids!
Educators from our centre and nearby services joined a hands-on session focused on how to implement STEM in early learning rooms. It was an inspiring and practical session full of new ideas to spark curiosity and learning in children.
Big thanks to the Melbourne Museum for this amazing opportunity!

πΏβ¨ A Proud Moment at Group Time β¨πΏ
This morning, we witnessed a heartwarming moment as the children took their own initiative to begin our group time with the Acknowledgement of Country. π€πβ€οΈ
Without any prompting, they confidently stood up and shared the words theyβve been learning with pride and respect, showing us how deeply they understand the importance of recognising the Traditional Custodians of the land.
Moments like these remind us just how powerful early education can be β teaching empathy, respect, and connection to culture from a young age.
Well done, little leaders! π±π

ππ¦ Caterpillar Rescue Game! π¦π
In the toddler room today, we had a fun fine motor challenge! Using a box with a caterpillar on top and a small hole in its mouth, the children had to tilt and turn the box to guide the balls out through the hole.
This hands-on activity encouraged problem-solving, focus, and coordination, all while enjoying a playful rescue mission. The toddlers were excited and proud every time they managed to get a ball out through the caterpillarβs mouth!
π Sustainability in Action! π±
Today, the children painted the red, yellow, and green bins as part of our ongoing sustainability focus. During group time, we talked about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and what each bin is used for.
It was lovely to see their excitement and growing awareness about caring for our planet! β»οΈποΈ
