๐ŸŒ… Morning from roadwayโ€ฆ and today the view is pretty hard to beat! ๐Ÿšฆ๐Ÿ„

I was up this morning before the sun had even thought about rising. An hour and a half out to site, hot chocolate beside me, big stretches of quiet road ahead and one eye firmly on the potholes. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Then, just as I was getting closer, I got to watch the sunrise begin to pierce through the clouds. Iโ€™ll admit it โ€” thereโ€™s something pretty magical about being on the road that early.

Today Iโ€™ll be on the radio, stop/slow bat in hand, keeping traffic moving for however many hours the job decides it needs me.

But before I start, I had to show you whatโ€™s directly opposite my job site todayโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ’š

Green paddocks, cows wandering around having breakfast, mountains in the distance and not a shopping centre or traffic jam in sight.

Apparently these are my workmates for the day. Theyโ€™re not particularly helpful with traffic management, but they do seem very relaxed about the whole operation. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ„

Not a bad little office for a Wednesday morningโ€ฆ today I will forget about Google for a little bit and I will wait to see my shop again tomorrow โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿšง

Trying not to HAVE A MOMENTโ€ฆ good news 1st my Google business profile IS BACK ๐Ÿฅณโ€ฆ BAD NEWS so far all of my reviews over the last 11 years have disappeared ๐Ÿ˜ณโ€ฆ except for 2 wonderful reviews that have just arrived ๐Ÿฅฐ I have used AI to ask the ??? and it said that hopefully in the next couple of days Google it will start reloading my previous reviewsโ€ฆ๐ŸคžSomething that you may not know about meโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve always found it hard to read our reviewsโ€ฆ itโ€™s uncomfortable, I worry and I get embarrassedโ€ฆ please donโ€™t take offence if I go into hiding ๐Ÿซฃโ€ฆ BUT I need to remind myself that reviews can often be peopleโ€™s memories of gifts that theyโ€™ve bought and smiles that theyโ€™ve hadโ€ฆ conversations at the counter. Kids pressing their noses against the windowโ€ฆ playing at the pretend Cafe or bouncing along the chalk hopscotch on the footpath. Families who had been coming back year after year and thatโ€™s a good thingโ€ฆ because I wouldnโ€™t be here without you ๐Ÿฅฐ

UPDATE- 3:49 Sunday afternoonโ€ฆ. somehow Google has adjusted my profile as being permanently closed again. I have just submitted a new appeal in relation to changing the hours. I can only hope that it will come back to being open and hopefully I wonโ€™t lose all the amazing reviews you guys have just put up today.๏ฟผ

UPDATE ON GOOGLEโ€ฆ so initially Google has denied my appeal after showing lots of documents lease electricity bill ATO etc. The next step Iโ€™ve just undertaken in the appeal process is a Google live video showing that I manage this shop opening it up with keys etc. Hopefully now they will approve my appealโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž - Warts and all small business journey ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

The Google appeal has officially been submitted. โœ…

Now I wait and hopefully ๐Ÿคž, within the next few business days, The Coffee Apple will magically reappear on Google where it belongs.
