What an incredible collaboration - Princes Park Scout Group, Glen Eira City Council, David Southwick, Cr Simone Zmood and the dedicated surrounding residents, bringing next of 60 CFRA Shock Stations(R) to fruition.

Another community ready, trained and willing to respond via 000/Goodsam to a cardiac arrest 💚

Thank you so much to Kew East Community Recycling for your ongoing support - making our training scenarios as real as possibly goes a long way to improving both female cardiac arrest survival and effective anaphylaxis management 💚🙌

It doesn’t get much better than this! 🙌

A huge thank you to Sheila, who has worked tirelessly to establish a Shock Station(R) outside her house, linked with 000/GoodSAM, and now over 40 people are trained Shock Savers(R) 💚

Thank you to Bendigo Bank for backing the initiative and St Patrick’s Catholic Church for hosting the session 🙏

Two hours of breaking down barriers to emergency care, understanding triage, learning how to access the right help at the right time, and plenty of hands-on practice empowering participants with the confidence to act in an emergency 💪

From paediatric to seniors sessions, female cardiac arrest to gamefied CPR, CFRA is passionate about building safer, stronger and more prepared communities.

To arrange your next session and join our team over 2600 Goodsam Responders and 60 Shock Stations, reach out to us at [email protected] 💚

What an absolute delight to be hosted by the City of Boroondara to deliver a high-impact Active Ageing CPR/Defib session 🙌

Our team of 50 enthusiastic participants are now trained CFRA Shock Savers(R), ready to recognise an emergency, take action, and access the right help to maximise patient survival in the event of collapse, cardiac arrest, or choking 👏

Fantastic work by the Boroondara team for pulling it all together! 💚

💚 3 Years of Impact: Addressing Female Cardiac Arrest Survival 💚

Since its inception, Community First Responders Australia (CFRA) has been leading the way in empowering communities and saving lives through emergency response—while tackling critical barriers, particularly in female cardiac arrest 🙌

💪 Over 9,500 people trained
👶👵 Ages 8 to 98
🌏 Diverse cultures, religions, and communities across Australia

From Indigenous communities in far south WA, to passers-by on Elwood Beach…
From Scouts Victoria to hundreds of fans at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup alongside Heartbeat of Football Foundation… this movement continues to grow.

At the centre of it all is our growing team of female manikins—Brittney, Stacey, Tiffany and Roxy—breaking down both physical and social barriers, supported by the latest best-practice CPR and defibrillation training 🫶

This impact wouldn’t be possible without the early vision and ongoing support of the ERDI Foundation, alongside incredible partners including Women's Health in the South East, Laerdal Medical, Heartbeat of Football and the Great Southern Aboriginal Medical Service 👏

And to the hundreds of community members who donated bras and clothing—thank you. You’ve helped make training more real, more relatable, and more effective 🙏

This is more than training—this is driving conversation and action to improve survival outcomes.

If you’re interested in helping expand this initiative, we’d love to hear from you: [email protected] 💚
