In our kindergarten room, teachers regularly facilitate yoga sessions to support children's wellbeing and emotional regulation. These sessions provide opportunities for children to practise mindfulness, develop body awareness, build confidence, and learn calming strategies that help them manage their emotions and transition throughout the day

We celebrated World Environment Day with a special planting experience alongside our families and grandparents in our three year old room. Together, we planted a variety of herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees, including parsley, green beans, sage, and mint.

The children enjoyed learning about where these plants come from and how they are used in everyday meals, discovering how herbs can add flavour and freshness to our food.

Thank you to all our families and grandparents who joined us and helped make the day so special!

Our children have been exploring heavy lifting and movement through gym-inspired experiences, developing their gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and confidence. Through lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling activities, children are learning about their bodies, building resilience, and discovering what they are capable of in a safe and engaging environment.

What a fantastic way to stay active while having fun!

Classroom 4 have been deeply engaged in their inquiry-based learning project on Community Helpers. Throughout this experience, the children have been exploring the important roles people play within our community and how they help us every day.

We have been so fortunate to welcome some wonderful family visitors into our classroom to share their jobs, experiences, and knowledge with the children. The children have shown great curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and making meaningful connections through these real-life experiences.

Our weekly music sessions were a hit again this week!
The children loved dancing, moving to the beat, and having a turn playing the drums. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, expressive, and full of joy throughout the session.

Our Kinders had a fantastic time today during a special incursion with the Recycle Man!

The children learnt all about recycling, what items belong in each bin, and how we can all help look after our environment.

There were lots of engaging discussions, hands-on learning, and excitement as the children explored ways to reduce waste and care for our planet. We love seeing our kinders so passionate about sustainability and making a difference!
