Adoring this "POWERZONE" friendship bracelet that made for me this morning π₯° So jealous of all the girlies who are going to the concert this weekend. I'm not a die hard fan, but I do LOVVVE me some glitter and sequins. And anything that brings girls and women together to live their best life - I'm here for it ππΌToday I felt like a fellow "swifty" π

A quick post about the realities of living with an unpredictable chronic illness - MS.
The first photo was yesterday afternoon. I had just run two group fitness classes that morning which were great! Caught up with everyone afterwards - felt fine! Got home, had a nap. Woke up feeling "average". I was extremely tired! I got ready to go to the shops, starting to feel really "off". But still I pushed through, cos you have to get on with the day.
While doing the shopping I couldn't think clearly, had a lot of brain fog felt a bit sick in the tummy. Got home...and it just continued to get worse! By dinner time I was struggling so much. My body was heavy, my brain felt like it couldn't process anything. At one point I just sat on the couch and stared blankly at the TV because I couldn't process anything anymore.
Some nights I've been having these weird pains in my upper abdomen after dinner. I'm starting tablets for indigestion, but I'm convinced it's not that. The pain came back last night, and I was done! See second photo. Nothing would relieve it. Got into bed, exhausted, and in pain. The pain was there until I eventually fell asleep.
When I woke up this morning it felt like I'd run a marathon and/or undergone surgery 𫨠My body was relieved from the pain, but I was drained. None the less, I got up and we went for a walk.
The walk was great! π€·πΌββοΈ I felt fine, even though it was really hot and usually that exacerbates my symptoms. I was surprised!!
I'm writing this now from the leg press machine in the gym. I feel FABULOUS!! β¨ I'm about to smash out a weights session πͺπΌππΌββοΈ Go figure!
This is what life with MS is like. Things change quickly - day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute! And you just gotta roll with it and appreciate the ups π€πππΌ
