🛰️ Exploring Space, Technology & the Future! 🚀

Our students had an exciting Satellite Bootcamp with Muslims in Tech and Cofuture, where they were introduced to the fascinating world of satellites and electronics.

Using CubeSats (cube satellites), students explored the basics of electronics, discovered how satellite technology works, and enjoyed hands-on opportunities to build, experiment and ask plenty of curious questions. 🔧⚡🛰️

It was wonderful to see our students so engaged and excited about learning — and perhaps even inspiring some of them to pursue careers in engineering, technology and the space industry in the future.

At AICC, we are committed to creating learning experiences that spark curiosity, develop new skills and prepare our students to be Future Ready. 🌏🚀

A big thank you to Muslims in Tech for another engaging and inspiring incursion!

More fr the Drone Incursion

26/08/2026

Today, our students had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Muslims in Tech Drone Incursion.

In today’s session, students explored how software and coding are used to control and fly drones, gaining an understanding of how technology translates commands into movement and flight.

This is just the beginning of their learning journey. In future sessions, students will explore the engineering behind drones, including how they are designed, built, and how their different components work together.

Through experiences like this, we aim to spark curiosity, develop problem-solving skills, and inspire our students to see themselves as the engineers, programmers, and innovators of the future.

A big thank you to Muslims in Tech for providing our students with this engaging, hands-on STEM learning experience.

On Tuesday, AICC had the pleasure of welcoming a group of educators from Indonesia who visited our College to learn more about our curriculum, educational vision, and values.

During the visit, we shared our belief that, as Muslim educators, we are more than teachers. We are Murabbis. Our responsibility extends beyond imparting knowledge; it is about Tarbiyah, nurturing and developing the whole child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and morally.

We spoke about our aspiration to nurture every student towards becoming the person Allah (SWT) wants them to become, grounded in faith, strong in character, committed to excellence, and prepared to make a positive contribution to the world.

An important part of our discussion was the role of the hidden curriculum at AICC. Tarbiyah does not only happen through what is formally taught in the classroom. It is embedded in our relationships, routines, expectations, environment, language, role modelling, and the everyday experiences of our students. These seemingly small moments collectively help shape their character, identity, values, and relationship with Allah (SWT).

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow Muslim educators and reflect together on our shared responsibility of educating not only the mind, but nurturing the whole human being.

May Allah (SWT) place barakah in our efforts and enable us, as Murabbis, to raise generations who are righteous, knowledgeable, compassionate, and a source of goodness for others. Ameen.
