π¦ Road to Zero β VPC π¦
Our VPC students recently got involved in the Road to Zero program, looking at how young people use the roads and what can be done to make it safer.
In groups, they focused on either pedestrians or cyclists aged 14β17, researching behaviours and thinking about the risks that come with them. They then created their own short video campaigns aimed at encouraging safer choices among their peers.
It was great to see the effort and thought that went into these, with some really strong messages coming through.
These videos will also be added to student portfolios as part of their learning.

A special memory from our 2025 Year 12s. π
Their final lunch with staff β sharing pizza, laughter and reflecting on the journey they had taken together.
Moments like these highlight what our school is all about, as the connections made throughout a students journey at Y2IC are what make it so memorable and meaningful.

Yesterday, students attended the FORMULA 1 Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix 2026, where they visited the Innovation Hub and explored the technology behind one of the worldβs most advanced sports.
Throughout the day they checked out interactive exhibits, took part in STEM challenges and heard about different career pathways connected to motorsport and the wider STEM industry.
It was a great opportunity for students to see how science, technology, engineering and maths are used in the real world, both on and off the track.

We were proud to be invited to host a stall at the recent City of Stonnington & City of Port Phillip Service Expo.
This event provided a fantastic opportunity for our student leaders to step outside the classroom and further develop their skills in public speaking, advocacy and community education.
A big thank you to Lewis, Gracie and Olive for representing our school with confidence and professionalism. We are incredibly proud of the way you engaged with the community and showcased the work we do.
Well done to all involved!
