Reposted from ocdbaltimore So I was just on (and that’s backyard birds of Maryland behind me). Got a chance to talk about coping with pandemic anxiety and made sure to make the point that with it we get more than excessive hand washing. We get moral scrupe and intrusive thoughts, and it’s ok to ask for help!

What it is not!

There is so much awful information out there about OCD and I’m just so tired of hearing my people say, β€œoh, if only I was a little more OCD about ABC!”
-
Ugh! No one wants to be β€œa little more OCD!” No one.
-
OCD is painful. OCD is debilitating. OCD hurts people and families.
-
Let’s educate people on a grand scale! Share this with anyone and everyone.
-
I plan to do more of these on topics that are important and need exposure.
-
Let’s do this!
-
Love ya!
