Hallam Secondary College students have blown us away with another spectacular Hallam's Got Talent Showcase. Our CAPA academy and VET music performance students put on an amazing show that shared their technical and performance skills.

On Tuesday our CAPA and music VET students had a wonderful time exploring the city and attending the Top Acts performance.
We visited the Australian Music Vault and explored some of Australia's rich music history before watching the top performance students from VCE and VET last year.
The quality of these young performers was amazing and inspired many conversations on the bus ride home.

Last week Hallam Secondary College celebrated our graduating class of 2023. We were very honoured to have 3 of our original CAPA students who started up with the program when it started back in 2020. We are so proud of how they have grown throughout their time at school and within the Academy.
Two of our CAPA students, one at the end of their journey and one at the beginning shared their talent with the community to farewell the hardworking year 12 students. As usual they did an amazing job, and represented our hardworking and talented CAPA academy!
Congratulations to all the graduates and a special thank you to our CAPA graduating class. We will miss you!!

We are so proud of the students who shared their skills and love for the arts last week at the Arts and Trades Showcase and awards night. Our students got the chance to share what they have been working on throughout the year with their family and friends. It was a great night full of celebrations of the community we have built over the past few years.
Huge shout of to all of the students who won awards on the night and everyone who got up to perform. You never fail to blow us away!!

Next Thursday 19th of October from 5pm Hallam Secondary College will be hosting the Creative and Performing Arts and Trades Awards Night and Showcase.
Our amazing CAPA students will be sharing work from performances this year, and new material they have been working on recently. Please join us to celebrate all the hard work our students have put into this year!

Last week our CAPA students performed in the Hallam's Got Talent showcase alongside some special guests from Timbarra P-9 College. Our students and the Timbarra bands put on an amazing show and entertained the packed Theatre on both Thursday and Friday performances.
We are looking forward to more performances this year!
