It’s great to see things are starting to improve in Australian aviation. Tom, our ATPL Flight Planning instructor, has recently returned to international flying after an extended period of stand down.

Our next Flight Planning course is running online from Monday July 5 to Thursday July 15. The teaching, content and contact hours are identical to our in-person course and as a Melbourne-based theory school we have experience teaching theory online given Victoria’s lockdowns over the past two years. We’ve just opened our remaining 2021 Flight Planning courses for booking!

ATPL Theory’s Flight Planning course will prepare you to successfully pass your CASA examination. Our nine day course is held at Qantas Flight Training Melbourne. We focus on the individual, and limit our class sizes to ensure one-on-one interaction to guarantee that all of your training needs are met.

Course dates are:
- July 6-16
- September 14-24
- December 7-17

We’re super proud of our students, and it always makes us extremely happy to hear when they’ve passed another ATPL exam. Over the past three weeks we’ve had three pass ATPL Flight Planning with an average of 84% - it was the last exam for each of them, so a massive congratulations to them for completing their ATPL theory!

This photo is of the first Boeing 727, which was displayed to the public in November 1962. First flying in February 1963 it is still the assessed aircraft for ATPL Flight Planning.
