🐄🌿 Farm animal fun today!
The children explored our textured grass sensory tray with farm animals, using their imaginations to create their own little farm adventures. 🐑🐖✨
A lovely activity to encourage storytelling, language, and sensory exploration! 💛

As part of National Reconciliation Week, the children participated in a range of intentional experiences that celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and promoted respect for Australia’s First Peoples. The children explored Indigenous culture through art, stories, music, and collaborative activities that encouraged inclusion, respect, and cultural awareness. Educators facilitated meaningful conversations about kindness, community, and the importance of walking together towards reconciliation as we continue to foster a sense of belonging and respect within our learning environment.

🍪👩‍🍳 Baking day fun!
Our little chefs enjoyed mixing, pouring, and decorating delicious cookies today. From counting ingredients to tasting their tasty creations, it was a wonderful hands-on learning experience full of smiles and excitement! 💛✨

Earlier this week, our educators and children came together to acknowledge National Sorry Day and learn about the importance of reconciliation. Through age-appropriate experiences, the children explored themes of empathy, connection, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.We honoured the strength and resilience of the Stolen Generations and recognised the importance of learning about Australia’s shared history together.

From mixing and pouring to squishing, rolling, and creating, the children loved exploring textures and using their imaginations through sensory play. ✨🎨

After enjoying the story together, the children explored exciting play spaces inspired by the book — from sorting fruits and role play to creative activities and sensory fun. 🌈📚

✂️🎨 Little hands busy creating!
Today our toddlers explored cutting and pasting activities, building fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence while having lots of fun. 🌈🖍️
We loved seeing their concentration and proud smiles as they made their wonderful masterpieces! 💛

🚦 Our children have been exploring Road Safety Week through a variety of creative and hands-on experiences. From designing traffic lights🚦 and road signs 🚧through art and craft to engaging in imaginative road play set-ups, children have been learning about safe road practices in meaningful and fun ways. 🎨🚗

Through discussions, role play and interactive activities, children are developing their understanding of road safety, including safe crossing, wearing helmets and recognizing important traffic signals. We love seeing our little learners build confidence and awareness through play-based learning.💛🚦 🚧🚧

🦆🎭 Five little ducks went out to play… and our nursery puppets made the story come alive!
Lots of singing, counting, waddling, and giggles today as the children joined in with their favourite duck friends. 💛✨
