Remembering. Listening. Honouring. 🇦🇺
It was heartwarming to see a group of John Paul College Year 12 students attend the Vietnam Veterans’ Day service at the Shrine of Remembrance… carrying with them the stories of veterans from their local community.
As part of a History project, the students interviewed the group of veterans and created biography booklets, documenting their experiences and service.
Featured on 7 News, the students presented the booklets to the veterans… a powerful moment of connection between generations, and a promise… Lest we forget.

🎠From MACS to the global screen! 🌏✨
We know we’ve bragged about this MACS alumnus before… but we can’t help ourselves! 🙌
We’re super proud of 2006 Padua College alum Christopher Chung, who stars as Harry Beecham in the fresh adaptation of Miles Franklin’s Aussie classic, My Brilliant Career, that’s just premiered. 🇦🇺
And there’s something particularly special about this role.
In this bold retelling of the 125-year-old classic, Harry has been reimagined as mixed Chinese-Australian, with Christopher bringing an Asian-Australian perspective to the story. 🇦🇺🇨🇳
Christopher previously starred in the hit British spy thriller Slow Horses, but says he’s thrilled to take on the romantic lead of Harry… bringing a new dimension of representation to one of Australia’s most iconic stories.
Congratulations, Christopher! We are so proud of you… and yes, we’ll be tuning in! 🍿🎬

Belonging 🤝 MACS Schools
At our RE Symposium, we had the pleasure of speaking to Principal Ronnie Pritchard from St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Mt Evelyn to talk about how faith shows up in our schools.
Meaningful interactions between staff, children and parents. That's Vision for Engagement in action.
And it's what creates a sense of belonging across every MACS school. ✨
Friendships that help us flourish đź’›
Who was your best friend at school?
You might not remember every detail about them... but chances are you remember how they made you feel.
This week, we're celebrating the power of friendship… because every smile in the playground, every lunch shared, every encouraging word and every "you've got this" helps build a sense of belonging.
At MACS, we know that when students feel safe, included and connected, they're free to flourish… and that’s exactly what our Vision for Engagement is all about.
Here's to the friendships that shape us, support us and stay with us long after the school bell. 🌟

We’re so proud to see St Anne’s Primary School Kew East celebrated in the Herald Sun! ✨📰✨
With 106 students, St Anne’s is proving that a smaller school can make a big difference, creating a community where every child belongs. 💫🤗💫
There’s also still plenty on offer… STEM, PE, performing arts, Italian, art, interschool sport and many before-school and lunchtime clubs. What’s more… St Anne’s celebrated outstanding NAPLAN results! 🧑‍🎓🏆👩🏻‍🎓
It's no wonder the school is now so popular with 135 students expected next year, but the school’s commitment remains… every student is 'known, understood and heard'. ❤️
St Anne’s… where big things are happening! 🌟
When you think about Religious Education what comes to mind? 🤔
We spoke to Ru Lameijn, Principal of St Anthony's Primary School, at our RE Symposium to hear what RE really looks like in our schools.
To put it simply... VALUES. FAITH. INCLUSIVITY. ✨
A smile. A hello. A warm welcome at the school gate.
Sometimes, that’s all it takes to help a child feel safe, connected and ready to learn.
Keynote speaker at our MACS Religious Education Symposium, Anne Kertz Kernion shared why belonging is so important for children’s learning and wellbeing.
It’s a message that’s at the heart of our Vision for Engagement… fostering calm, respectful and inclusive learning environments where every student feels known, valued and ready to learn.
Because when children know they belong, they’re free to flourish. 🙌
