Happy Children’s Day! We wish all children a day as bright and joyful as their smiles.

At Aurora, we marked this special day with an exciting chalk paint activity for our little artists. The children used a simple, fun recipe made from cornflour, water, and food coloring to create vibrant artwork on a shared board. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to express their colorful ideas and explore their creativity alongside their friends.

The session was filled with laughter, as the children let their imaginations run wild, painting freely and joyfully. Beyond just artistic expression, the activity fostered teamwork and collaboration as they shared their colors and ideas with each other. It was heartwarming to watch them not only create beautiful works of art but also support and inspire one another.

We are grateful to be part of your child’s learning journey and are proud to offer opportunities that promote creativity, communication, and friendship. Days like this remind us of the joy and wonder children bring into the world, and we feel privileged to nurture their growth and learning every day.

Happy Children’s Day from all of us!

Yesterday, our little ones in Seamist Doncaster spent some time learning about Australian Animals and country with stories, pictures of native animals, gum leaves, thus connecting with nature to enhance children’s knowledge on unique and diverse wildlife found in Australia.

On Australia Day, we acknowledge and honor the rich cultural heritage of the Aboriginal peoples, the traditional custodians of this land. May we reflect on their history, resilience, and contributions to the diverse tapestry of Australia.

We wish you all a lovely and peaceful long weekend 🍃☀️

Happy Holi - Part 1 ❤️ Yesterday we celebrated Holi with our Aurora Community. Read on to learn about this special festival and all the fun we had!

How do we celebrate Holi?

Holi is celebrated on the 8th March for the arrival of Spring in India, it is also called Spring Festival, Festival of Colour or Festival of Love.

It is also a joyous day to meet others, play, laugh, forgive and repair broken relationships.

On the first night of Holi, Hindus light bonfires and throw roasted grains, popcorn, coconut and chickpeas into them. Being the festival of colour, it is also celebrated by smearing each other with paint and coloured water in the streets. This is what our children got to experience in our centres.

What do the Holi colours mean?

Some people believe the Holi colours came from Krishna mischievously throwing coloured water over his milkmaids when he was a boy. This was developed into practical jokes and games of Holi. Red symbolises love and fertility and green stand for new beginnings.

Do you celebrate Holi? If so, what is your favourite part of the festival?
