Happy Friday peeps.
Lately, I've had some discussions with customers regarding strings. By all means, bring your own but please be careful what you buy. This is what I get to sell to you for $25 per set. After postage, I make a profit of just over $4 on each set that goes on your guitar.
I know there are plenty of cheaper places to buy, which might appear as a bargain on the surface, but I can not trust they are genuine until they arrive and are put on your guitar (or on mine). I just dont take that risk anymore.
Just be careful buying your own strings and bringing them to me. Fake chinese copies aren't made of the same quality materials, they sound cheap, they break easily and dont stay in tune as well. It's just not worth the savings IMO.

To all my clients and friends, Merry Christmas and happy new year. I hope the festive season brings you joy and laughter and smiles! Business as usual although I'm taking a few days off here and there. Check with me for specifics.
I would like to make a change in the new year to my services, all jobs must include a set of strings from my collection. I have come across some dodgy Chinese fake string sets that customers have brought in for me to use, these don't allow me to setup your guitars properly. All strings in stock in my workshop are bought locally in bulk, from big music stores that have a reputation to protect. I sell these to you for $15 per set, usually $20 at the music shops.
Strings I keep in stock are Ernie Ball 9's and 10's but I can get other sets on request. I usually keep Elixir strings too at $25 per set
