Reading is more than just learning phonics. While phonics gives children the tools to decode words, true reading growth comes from connecting with stories, responding to literature, sharing ideas and developing a genuine love of books. When children engage deeply with rich literature, they build imagination, empathy, vocabulary and a lifelong passion for reading.

Using fact families is just one step to get students to math fact mastery.

If students know one fact, they can automatically know 3 more.

Fact families help children see the connections between numbers, not just memorise answers. By understanding how addition and subtraction relate to one another, students develop strong number sense, improve their mental maths skills and build confidence as problem solvers.

These early foundations support success in mathematics for years to come.

Our Visual Arts program gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity through painting, drawing, sculpting or designing.

Art encourages imagination, problem-solving and self-expression, while reminding us that the creative process is just as important as the finished piece.
