Letting in what lights you up 💡 23/03/2025

P L A Y T I M E

Do you sometimes struggle to know what it is you want?

Do you find it difficult to ask?

This 90 minute online session is an invitation to play with the question what do I want?

We will use School of Consent practices and facilitated discussion to learn together through playful enquiry. I have recently completed facilitator training with the School of Consent, this event forms part of my certification process.

I would love you to join me!

Wheel of Consent® 2-day Workshop: Naarm/Melbourne, May 2025 16/03/2025

Folks based in Naarm!

The wonderful Stella Topaz is returning to offer some more Wheel of Consent experiential learning spaces. I’m thrilled to be assisting.

If you’d like to keep abreast of what’s happening in Australia you may wish to view the recently launched Australasian School of Consent website.

You will see more of me there as a facilitation in training as I work towards certification.

Why?
It feels good, I am more awake, aware. I notice myself and you at the same time. I respond rather than react. I notice when I react. I notice nuance, more. I breathe and know I’m breathing.

My capacity expands. I have more to offer. I have greater access to nourishment, when I am resourced I am more resilient.

I have choice. I am in alignment. Resonance happens. I can be more present, brave and loving with myself, you, us and you with you, me and us.

❤️

What it feels like
Moving slower, variety of sensation, more pleasure. I feel tenderised, connected to my feelings. The urgency of my to do list has gone. I feel less anxious.

I meet life and choose how and when to respond. I feel empowered, stable and able to ride the wobbles of life.

My body takes care of pace, not the activity around me. I don’t feel overridden. I feel seen.

When?
Anytime I choose. 😊
This weekend I assisted at a Wheel of Consent workshop for qu**rs, together we practiced listening, observing, asking, responding, precisely and specifically, taking time and care. We moved slowly individually and interactively, together.

During our closing circle one of the participants reflected on their experience and they were reminded of Bayo Akomolafe’s catch cry : the times are urgent, let’s slow down. 🌍

It’s wildly radical, (r)evolutionary.. essential and deeply nourishing to slow down in this world, in these times. I’m so grateful for it @thewheelofconsent

Go gently, go slow.

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

It’s been a while between posts..

I highly recommend Radical Relating for content and courses about ethical non-monogamy.

If ENM is your thing.. they run an online program Monogamy Detox.. this post has really got my brain ticking..
