If you're travelling the Golden Highway between Singleton and Merriwa, 🚚the campground at Jerry's Plains Camping Ground is a popular stopover for caravanners, campers, and road trippers looking for a comfortable Off-grid camp.🔦
Enjoyed a couple of nights here and I can attest to the food at the pub being enjoyable. I had a meal with my son, who was passing through, and we both agreed that it was a great meal.

📍 Mooney Mooney Bridge Rest Stop. What a great place for a quick break. 🚐
Easy parking for the caravan, clean toilets, and look at those views! 🌊
☀️ Just over an hour out of Sydney, it was a very welcome place to pull up, stretch the legs, and check that everything inside the caravan was still where it should be. ✔️
The water views on a sunny day were beautiful and just the thing to make my heart sing ❤️ and build the excitement of being back on the road. 🛣️

Tollways everywhere... but how pretty are the lights in those tunnels. 🌟
There's always a mix of excitement and anticipation when the city lights start fading in the rear-view mirror and the open road lies ahead.

Mooney Mooney Bridge Rest Stop... the perfect place to pause after navigating the route out of Sydney, with the caravan happily following behind.
One thing I always do when we stop is a quick check inside the van. 👀
A few minutes spent making sure everything is still where it should be can save a lot of frustration later. There's nothing worse than opening a door at your destination and discovering the contents of a drawer or cupboard has redecorated the entire caravan because a latch didn't quite clip shut. 😅
Travelling is so much more enjoyable when you build little routines that help keep everything running smoothly.

It's always exciting getting a new piece of equipment.
A new Gymbal. This seemed like the perfect addition, but it has certainly taken me a bit to get it working.
Perseverance is the trick ... and now looking forward to using it every day and enjoying the discoveries of what it can do. 😁
