Gardening is educational and develops new skills including: Responsibility– from caring for plants. Understanding– as they learn about cause and effect (for example, plants die without water, weeds compete with plants) Self-confidence – from achieving their goals and enjoying the food they have grown.

Develops children's creativity (moulding wet sand into different shapes). Teaches problem solving skills (figuring out how to dig a tunnel in wet sand so it won't collapse). Children improve co-ordination skills (filling up measuring spoons and cups).

Hi. My name is Ayda. I'm running Magicland Family Day Care based in Blackburn in VIC. My centre is registered with Shiningstars FDC. I have vacancies Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 6pm. I'm a qualified educator with 5 years experience in the industry.
