This is a CALL IN to anyone who calls themselves a leader. Who has a cause they champion and care about.
Where is everyone?
Where is your voice?
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t spoken up before now. Truly.
I want you to think about: How am I using my power, my privilege TODAY?
Because we all know what it feels like when you’re alone.
Right? *Especially* game changers.
The entrepreneurs with an idea you’re trying to get off the ground when everyone disbelieves.
The leaders standing up to say not only that something isn’t right BUT that I’m going to fix it.
The advocate who amplifies the voices of those who cannot be heard.
The change makers who see progress where others only see roadblocks.
The creators with a fire burning in them that can not be extinguished by naysayers.
We KNOW.
And yet as this dark, complex, unprecedented stain of time in our humanity is livestreamed, we sit idle. We’re silent because it doesn’t personally affect us - yet.
We clamp our mouths shut publicly, afraid to hurt our career prospects, brand or relationships. We feel the right thing to do tug at us but we stay the course and remain complicit.
We hold back our buying power from a boycott, our signature from the 30 second petition, our questions and contributions from the conversation.
And yet we do it knowing that the most pivotal times of historical change in living history have occurred not by the actions of one, or even a few. It’s been because of the small action or risk we all took in unison to bring about life saving changes.
I am calling you in:
What can you do?
How will you use your voice?
Who can you influence?
Where can you lend your power today?
