We would love to thank and appreciate all of our wonderful educators at Crown Kiddo Education Hillside for raising awareness of children in foster care by dressing up for National Pyjama Day!
It's a day to wear your favourite pair of PJ's to help The Pyjama Foundation raise awareness and funds for children in foster care.

On the 21st of July 2023, The children and educators at Crown Kiddo Education Hillside all participated in the celebration of National Pyjama Day to raise awareness for children in foster homes. National Pyjama Day is dedicated to wearing your favourite, most comfy clothes to childcare.

Crown Kiddo had their first excursion to our local school Parkwood Green Primary.
Our kinder children were buddied up with the children in the foundation class where they met with the schools mascots and chickens, and were shown what it is like to participate in a real prep class.

Our Kindergarten children have been practicing writing this week to create Mothers Day cards in preparation for our centre's annual Mothers Day Afternoon Tea.
Writing is practiced as part of our 'Literacy, Language and Public Speaking Educational Program' to allow for a smoother transition into Prep.

At Crown Kiddo Education, we broaden children's experiences as participants in different relationships and communities. We create environments in which children experience mutually enjoyable, caring and respectful relationships with people and the environment.

We would like to thank Miss Sienna for inviting our children to participate in her traditional Korean Tea Ceremony, and sharing with us the ways to respect and interact during this event by the appropriate attitudes and manners.

We would like to thank Miss Alex and Miss Jasmina for sharing their cultural dance Kolo and traditional outfit from Croatia/Macedonia with our children at Crown Kiddo Education Hillside.
Celebrations can provide an opportunity for children to develop respect for diverse values and beliefs as they learn about practices which are different to their own

During our recent Easter celebration, our children received a very special visit from the Easter bunny!
In anticipation of the Easter bunny's visit, our children participated in Crown Kiddo's 'Creative Arts and Crafts Projects Educational Program' to create and show off their Easter hats and baskets.
