Netzer Australia Netzer Australia is a Progressive, Zionist Youth Movement, which aims to inspire and educate the youth of our community.

Netzer Australia is a Progressive, Zionist, Jewish Youth Movement, which aims to empower, inspire and educate the youth of our community, through youth camps, and weekly educational programs! We are a nonprofit organization run by skilled volunteer youth leaders (madrichim) of university age who have completed intensive leadership training and education. There are weekly programs run in both Melbo

Using informal education, we run a variety of activities that are both fun and intellectually challenging. We aim to empower the youth and encourage them to be active participants in the Progressive community. Netzer is a worldwide movement that is affiliated with the World Union for Progressive Judaism and has branches (sniffim) in twelve countries.

🎉 WE DID IT — $30,000 RAISED! 💚💚💚

Because of YOU, our Mishpachot, our Chaverimot, our whole movement, we’ve smashed our Appeal goal.

But we’re not stopping there. We’ve raised the bar to $35,000, because every extra dollar means another Netzernik getting to Shnat, another kid from a small community at camp, another future leader finding their place in this movement.

WOW. 💚 Because of YOUR incredible generosity, we’ve officially smashed our $25,000 Appeal goal!

It takes a movement, and you all just proved it. From Shnat subsidies to camp subsidies, from bringing Shlichim to Australia to keeping small communities connected, every dollar is going straight into building a stronger Netzer.

✨ WHAT A NIGHT! ✨

Last Sunday, the Netzer community came together to celebrate, and wow, did you show up! 220+ Netzerniks across Sydney and Melbourne joined us for our Alumni Reunions 💚

We reminisced over old photos, reconnected with old chanichim and madrichim, and felt the Netzer ruach alive and well, it was everything we hoped for and more.

If you were there, todah rabah for giving up your Sunday night to be part of it 💚

Nights like that are exactly why our Appeal matters. It takes a movement to keep this community strong, and every Netzernik who walked through the door that night is part of that movement. If you haven’t yet, consider getting behind this year’s Appeal so the next generation gets the same Netzer experience you did 💚

This weekend, 14 Netzer leaders joined bogrim from youth movements across Australia and NZ for the AZYC’s Bogrim Seminar! 🌏✨

The weekend was full of passionate discussions, inter-movement bonding, and meaningful Shabbat services, concluding with our attendance at the ZFA’s Educators Conference.

We’re incredibly grateful to the AZYC for hosting the seminar, and can’t wait to share what we learnt with the Netzer community! 💚
