You know, the one's that every man and his dog tells you are JuSt tHe BaSiCs...
That you should program everything else around them, no matter who you are.
And... How close can you REALLY take them to failure before something else falls apart?
Every single rep is an opportunity to build skill.
For that you need focus.
When you have focus and skill...
Then, intensity can come along for the ride.

Proud Dad moment finally getting to play football with my little man watching on from the sidelines. đĨ°
Little does he know, this means more to his Daddy than he will ever remember.
We lost 5-4 today in what was a very close game, but it was a decent match and I'm pleased to report I didn't get kicked this week, so my knees are (mostly) intact.
I should have put at least a couple in the net but it wasn't to be...
I promise there's still a few more goals in this old boy yet!
One day it could just be me watching him from the side lines, but for now there's no stopping. đ

As a time poor Mum or Dad your nutrition will get complicated if you're making a million different things.
That's exactly we we always try to minimise that situation by prepping meals, planning menu's ahead of time together and often eating more or less the same things when we eat together.
Adults and kids don't need 50 million choices every day.
That's not to say this isn't open to change. For example, sometimes a little extra peanut butter or some full fat yoghurt, or dark crushed chocolate might make it into one or all of these meals. đ
But the beauty of this type of brekkie is the simplicity.
It get weighed, portioned, thrown in the fridge and then it just requires a quick stir in the morning.
It's overwhelming if you're constantly changing things up too much, and it doesn't help anyone to manage anything properly.
Whether that be calories and body weight or food shops, meal preps and food wastage.
Keep it simple, stupid. đ
If you want the rest of your family to benefit from being healthier, it starts from the top.
