Community Networking Opportunity
Aspire Clyde North recently had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a community networking session with Exceeding Childcare Centres in Clyde North.
This valuable experience provided us with the chance to further explore and learn about the best practices implemented in an Exceeding-rated services particularly in supporting children's language and literacy development. Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, we gained insights into the exceeding themes and innovative approaches that enhance learning outcomes for children.
We are also proud to share the initiatives and practices we have implemented at Aspire Clyde North to continuously improve the quality of education and care we provide for our children and families.
Collaboration and networking with fellow educators strengthen our commitment to ongoing improvement and excellence in early childhood education. Thank you to Exceeding Childcare Centre for hosting and sharing your knowledge with us!

Today at Aspire Clyde North, we experienced a truly heartwarming act of generosity.
A very kind gentleman visited our centre and donated his treasured collections of safari animal photographs and a beautiful collection of marbles that he had carefully kept for many years. Rather than seeing these valuable items put away or discarded, he wanted them to be enjoyed, explored, and appreciated by children.
We were deeply touched by his kindness and trust. We understand how meaningful and valuable these collections are to him, and we are incredibly grateful that he chose Aspire Clyde North to become their new home.
We promise to care for these special resources and ensure they are used meaningfully in our learning environment. Through this generous gift, we also hope to teach our children the importance of respecting and caring for items that have been passed on by others, as well as appreciating the stories and memories they carry.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us create meaningful learning experiences for our children. ❤️

Community and Family Connections
We are grateful to Amart Furniture Pakenham , through the generosity of store manager and parent committee member Manuella Guillemain, for donating fabric swatches for the children to use in creative arts, sensory exploration, and imaginative play.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our families for their generous donations of books and other valuable resources. Your contributions enrich our learning environment and provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for the children.
We greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our wonderful community.

At Aspire Clyde North, we are gradually moving away from plastic toys and embracing loose parts and natural materials to enrich children's play and learning experiences.
The Waratah children were meaningfully engaged in open-ended play, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. We observed a range of schemas, including transporting, constructing, and positioning. Schematic play is an important part of children's development, helping them explore ideas, build connections, and make sense of the world around them.
Have wondered what meaningful interaction happening during the play?

At Aspire Clyde North, children's voices are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child has the right to be heard, and their ideas, opinions, and perspectives are embedded in our daily decision-making processes. Whether it is a small suggestion or a significant contribution, every voice matters and is valued within our learning community.
Child safety remains our highest priority. We empower children by teaching them about risk minimisation, helping them develop the skills to recognise potential hazards, make informed choices, and keep themselves and others safe. Through these experiences, children are encouraged to speak up with confidence, express their thoughts freely, and remain aware of their surroundings.
We are proud of our SKIPPERS CHILDREN

The BANKSIA Children at Aspire Clyde North have been engaging in meaningful mark-making experiences using natural resources. Recently, the room has been focusing on creating unique artworks that support fine motor development, encourage creativity, and inspire curiosity about the natural world.
Through the use of materials such as leaves, sticks, seed pods, and other natural elements, children have explored different textures, patterns, and ways of expressing their ideas. These experiences provide opportunities for children to experiment, problem-solve, and make connections with their environment.
Mark making is an important part of early childhood development as it strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the foundations for future writing. It also allows children to communicate their thoughts, express creativity, and build confidence through open-ended exploration.
We have loved watching the children engage with nature in meaningful ways while creating their own unique masterpieces.
