What a beautiful afternoon we had celebrating Father’s Day at Launchpad ELC Lower Plenty! 🥰☕️🍰

Our little ones loved sharing a special afternoon tea with their dads, grandfathers, father figures and special people. 💙 From sweet treats and big smiles to lots of cuddles and precious moments, it was the perfect way to celebrate the incredible people who mean so much to our children. 🫶

To all of our wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and special people — we wish you a very Happy Father’s Day for Sunday! 💙

You shouldn't have to wait until pickup to know how your child's day is going.

📱 At Launchpad, we use the Storypark app to share daily photos and updates with families throughout the day.
You can see what your child had for lunch, what they built in the sandpit, and which book their educator read at story time.

It's especially helpful in those early weeks when you're still getting used to being apart.

Starting childcare is a big step for both you and your child. Here are some things that can help:

🏠 At Launchpad, we offer a minimum of three orientation sessions so your child has time to get comfy with you by their side.
👋 Keep goodbyes short and warm. A long drawn-out goodbye is harder for everyone. A confident "I'll be back after lunch" and a kiss go a long way.
📱 Check Storypark. We post daily updates and photos so you can see how your child's day is going, so you don't need to worry.
😊 Trust the process. Most children settle faster than their parents expect. Our educators have done this hundreds of times and they're excellent at it.

🥦 Studies show that children are far more likely to try a new food when they see a friend eating it happily.

At Launchpad, mealtimes are social, relaxed, and fun. Our educators encourage without pressure and let peer modelling do a lot of the work.

What's our most important safety measure at Launchpad? Our educators.

An educator who genuinely knows your child notices the moment something's off. They know which cry means tired and which one means something's wrong. They know who needs five minutes of quiet and who needs a hug.

We do our best to ensure the same educators stay with the same children throughout their journey at Launchpad. We never use agency staff. The faces your child sees every day are people they know and trust.
