Meet Alice Abbot, Family Day Care Educator

“I love interacting with the children. I often care for them from a very young age and I love watching them grow. That’s the beauty of Family Day Care, you have so much one on one interaction with the children, there is a lot of love and support.

As an educator, I am guided by the children’s interests. Often the children and I will have a good laugh at our artwork and our drawings. I sit and talk with them, sing songs and read stories. Other times we lie on the floor and play with blocks and make constructions. I am also guided by the parent’s needs. I follow the same routines as the children have at home with their naps and mealtimes.”

Alice has over ten years combined experience in Family Day Care and Long Day Care. She is based in Narre Warren South. She has places available in home based childcare (Family Day Care) during the day and during before and after school times. She also does weekends by arrangement.
