š± Caring for Our Environment š±
Classroom 3ās current inquiry is focused on caring for plants and learning about the importance of looking after our environment. This week, we saw small groups of children exploring the service as they helped water our indoor plants with care and responsibility.
The children showed great teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the experience. When water was accidentally spilt on the floor, the children quickly worked together to help clean it up, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and care for their learning environment.
Experiences like these support children in developing confidence, independence and respect for the world around them through meaningful, hands on learning. šæ

āļø First Aid Training āļø
This week our team participated in First Aid and CPR refresher training to ensure our knowledge and skills remain current and up to date. Ongoing professional development like this supports our commitment to providing a safe, supportive and responsive environment for all children in our care.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Kelly from First Aid Ready for providing engaging, informative and quality training to our team. We appreciate the time and knowledge shared throughout the session.

Community walks are back! šæ
Our children loved heading back out into the community, exploring the world around them with curious minds and busy little feet.
Along the way, we spotted local businesses, chatted about what we could see in our neighbourhood, and collected beautiful leaves and nature treasures to bring back to the service for further learning and play. š
These adventures support children to build confidence, connection to their community, and an appreciation for the natural environment, all while having so much fun outdoors! We canāt wait for our next adventure. š

Walking into Classroom 5 today, it was impossible not to notice the incredible world the children had created together through their play.
Every child was deeply engaged in block play, collaboratively constructing and connecting their ideas from roads, parks and swimming pools, to a coffee shop, a see-saw and even a garbage truck station.
What began as individual creations evolved into a shared community, with children communicating, negotiating and extending one anotherās thinking through play.
Moments like these remind us that play is powerful. Through block construction, children are developing problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, creativity, teamwork and a strong sense of belonging as they build alongside their peers.
The depth of childrenās ideas and the way they connect their learning together never ceases to amaze us. š

Today we welcomed back Dr Rushma from Dentist 2 you for our biannual visit .
She spent time with each child counting their teeth, checking their gums and talking about the improvement of brushing and caring for their teeth.
āIām going to show the doctor my mouthā A
āI brush my teeth at homeā K
At our service, we value opportunities like these that support childrenās health and wellbeing in accessible and meaningful ways.
We thank Dr Rushma for providing such a positive and engaging experience for our children while helping build confidence around dental care.

Nido Dayā„
Last night, we slowed things down and celebrated Nido Day in the coziest way possible (wearing our pj's). We shared a delicious meal, got creative with a fun painting activity and ended the evening by reading heartfelt messages from our families. Seeing the joy and smiles on everyoneās faces is exactly why we do what we do.
