Currently she is the lead singer/frontwoman of Jazz trio, “Green Dolphin Street” and paving her way as an independent electronic pop artist under the guise of 'MEDLEY'
. Her experience spans from backing vocalist at festivals such as Big Day Out, to rotation on 94.1 Jazz FM radio, to being the lead vocalist for jingles such as ‘Sanctuary Cove Resort’ with London Music Group and Mike Blewitt Ford Dealership. Her notable highlights include ‘Top 12 Finalist’ on 2011 Channel 9’s ‘The X- Factor’, 2011 Sandown 500 National Anthem performer and is a former Queensland Conservatorium of Music graduate, with a Bachelor in Popular Music. Cleo most recently finished singing on opening credits of Australian feature film 'The Ninth Order' (due for release in 2022) directed by Nick A'Hern and produced by Joanne Samuels of Mad max fame. Cleo can teach voice techniques across a range of styles, (from classical, country, jazz and pop) and has tangible tools to help your child enjoy practising in their own time! Some of Cleo’s past vocal mentors include Venetta Fields (backing vocalist for Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones), Erana Clark (Australian Idol vocal coach) and Jeff Usher (tour support for Stevie Wonder). Cleo has used her knowledge and love of guitar to shape her song writing and has accompanied herself on this instrument for most of her musical years, performing for the likes of Olivia Newton John and Sir Cliff Richard at their respective charity events. Cleo has been teaching voice, guitar and beginner keyboards for 12 years and has been working with ABC Music since 2019 in addition to being a Jazz Voice instructor at The Music Gym in Melbourne CBD. Her greatest joy in teaching is sharing the discovery of sound and rhythm with her students and seeing their confidence grow as they develop their musical skills and understanding.
