Children from all rooms have been creating special lanterns which will be displayed throughout the evening as we celebrate light, warmth, and community together.

Parachute Time Fun! 🌈

This afternoon, two of our rooms came together to collaborate in a fun and engaging parachute game! Through teamwork, laughter and movement, the children worked together to lift, shake and explore the colourful parachute while building friendships across rooms. Experiences like these encourage cooperation, communication, turn-taking and a strong sense of belonging within our Aspire Riverwalk community. 💙

As part of our incursion program, children from our toddler rooms through to our kindergarten rooms enjoyed an exciting session with Little Sports Heroes! Through fun and engaging activities, children developed their gross motor skills, coordination, balance and teamwork while building confidence, staying active and having lots of fun. ⚽🏃‍♀️

This week, we are excited to begin our Winter Menu, thoughtfully designed to provide warm, nourishing meals for the cooler months ahead.

Our first winter meal is a delicious Pumpkin Soup paired with crispy baguette slices. Rich in flavour and packed with goodness, this comforting meal encourages children to explore seasonal foods while enjoying a warm and nutritious lunch with their friends.

We look forward to sharing more of our winter menu creations throughout the season!

At Aspire Riverwalk, children are exploring new languages through the ELLA program while engaging in creative digital experiences. By combining language learning, technology and STEM, children develop communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. These meaningful experiences encourage curiosity, creativity and a deeper understanding of the world around them. 💬📱🎨

🌊🐢 World Ocean Day 🐋💙

Today, the children explored World Ocean Day through a hands-on learning experience that encouraged them to think about how rubbish impacts our oceans and marine life. Using a sensory ocean tray filled with sea creatures, water and "pollution," the children investigated what happens when waste ends up in our waterways and discussed ways we can help protect our environment.

Through play, conversation and discovery, the children developed a deeper understanding of caring for our planet and the importance of keeping our oceans clean for future generations.

World Environment Day 🌏

Our children celebrated World Environment Day by taking action! We planted and cared for new plants, while also helping to clean and care for our outdoor environment. Through these meaningful experiences, children learned that sustainability is about nurturing nature, taking responsibility, and caring for the world around us. 💚🌿

Our Sensory Play Room is Open!

This week, children explored our newly opened Sensory Play Room, discovering textures, colours, and movement through hands-on play. As they squeezed, stretched, and investigated materials together, they developed creativity, communication, problem-solving, and social skills. A wonderful space where curiosity, exploration, and learning come alive! 💙💜
