National Child Protection Week 🫶🏻

This week, our Kindergarten children explored what it means to feel safe, loved and supported. Through meaningful conversations, children reflected on the people they trust at home and at kindergarten and expressed their ideas through words and drawings.

Father’s Day & Special Person Celebration

Today was all about celebrating the special people who love, guide, support and show up for our children every day.

A heartfelt thank you to all our families who joined us for our Father’s Day & Special Person Celebration. Seeing our children creating alongside you, sharing little moments, laughing and simply enjoying time together made the afternoon so meaningful.

Today we celebrate dads, grandfathers, uncles, father figures and all the special people who play an important part in our children’s lives.

Thank you for being part of our Aspire Riverwalk community and, most importantly, for being part of their story. 💛

From Young Authors to Meeting a Real Author

What began during Book Week as an invitation for our children to create their own books became something even more meaningful today.

Our walls have slowly filled with stories imagined, illustrated and told by our children, each one representing their ideas, interests, creativity and unique voice. Rather than simply reading stories, we wanted children to experience what it means to be an author themselves.

Today, we extended this learning by welcoming children’s author Rosa Angelone, author of Who Wants to Visit Rosa’s Adventure House? Me! 📖 Rosa shared her story with the children and gave our young authors the opportunity to connect their own book-making journey with a real author and storyteller.

This is what meaningful curriculum looks like to us, following children’s ideas, making their learning visible, extending their thinking and creating authentic connections with our wider community.

💛 To Our Amazing Team — You Are Appreciated Every Day 💛

Yesterday, our team came together for our monthly centre potluck — a time to share food, laughter, connection and simply enjoy being together. 🥰🍽️

As Educators’ Day also fell on our potluck day, we prepared a small gift for each of our team members, along with a personal message of appreciation. 🎁💐

Today, I wanted to share a little more about why this recognition matters to me.

Hi team,

You may have noticed that yesterday I didn’t simply say, “Happy Educators’ Day.”
That was intentional.
While I absolutely recognise and celebrate the incredible work our educators do, I personally don’t believe appreciation should be limited to one day on the calendar.

The impact you make, the care you give, and the dedication you show deserve to be acknowledged every day. ❤️

Yesterday’s gift was simply a small token of my gratitude, but my respect and appreciation for each of you goes far beyond a single occasion.
Each of you is valued, trusted, respected, and an important part of our centre’s success.
There is a quote that I feel truly reflects the work you do:

“Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions.”

Every day, you help shape confident learners, kind friends, curious thinkers and future leaders. 🌱✨

The work you do may not always have an immediate visible impact, but the difference you make can last a lifetime.

As a centre manager, I am incredibly proud of the culture we are creating together — one built on trust, connection, teamwork, respect and genuine appreciation.

Thank you for the love, patience, professionalism and commitment you bring to our children, families and to one another every day.

I am incredibly proud to lead such a passionate, caring and dedicated team. 💛

Please know that my appreciation for you is not reserved for Educators’ Day. It is something I feel, see and value every single day.
