The children started to explore Australian animals through a hands-on matching activity using realistic animal figurines, picture labels, eucalyptus leaves, and native flowers. They showed curiosity as they identified different animals, matched them with their names, and talked about their features and habitats. This engaging experience supported their language development, early literacy, cognitive thinking, and problem-solving skills. As they handled the figurines and labels, they also strengthened their fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination. It was wonderful to see the children learning together, asking questions, and building their knowledge of Australia's unique wildlife through meaningful play.
