This simple yet engaging experience provided wonderful opportunities to strengthen their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and independence — all while learning through play! 🧠✨

Today, our toddlers got creative with a very special purpose — making beautiful canvas masterpieces for their dads and the special people in their lives! 🥰🖌️

With paintbrushes in hand, our little artists explored colours, experimented with different brush strokes and proudly watched their ideas come to life. 🌈✨ Every brushstroke was filled with creativity, joy and lots of love! ❤️

These precious handmade gifts are more than just paintings — they are little pieces of love created by little hands for the very special people who mean so much to them. 🥹💕

Today, our little learners brought the Hungry Caterpillar to life through a fun, hands-on colour exploration activity! 🐛🌱

Using droppers, the children carefully added green water to white cotton balls, watching with excitement as they transformed into vibrant green caterpillar spots. 💧🟢 Their curiosity and wonder made this experience extra special!

This engaging activity supported fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, concentration and sensory exploration, while encouraging the children to learn through play. 🌟

Our little book lovers have been enjoying the magic of Book Week by sharing their favourite storybooks with their friends! 💛📖

Through these beautiful story-sharing moments, our children are developing their language and literacy skills, while also learning the importance of sharing, taking turns, listening and valuing their friends’ ideas. 🗣️👂🌟

It has been wonderful to watch their imaginations sparkle as they explore colourful illustrations, create their own stories and bring the pages to life in their very own special ways! ✨🌈

🔴❤️ Celebrating Red Nose Day at The Hive ELC Ashburton! 🐝

Today, our toddlers got creative with a fun round-print painting experience on the tuff tray! 🎨✨

Using red paint, cardboard tubes and small cups, the children explored different ways to create circular prints, discovering colour, patterns, shapes and textures through hands-on process art.

As they dipped, pressed, stamped and experimented, our little learners were also developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity and confidence — all while enjoying meaningful sensory play! 🌈👐
