Meet Albert Einstein, the violinist! 🎻 👇🏻



Albert Einstein started playing the violin at age six, thanks to his mother, Pauline Koch, who loved music. He learned from a local teacher in Munich, Germany, where his family lived. These early lessons sparked a lifelong love for music.

For Einstein, music was more than a hobby—it was a way to relax and think. He often said that music helped him work through tough scientific problems. To him, music and science were alike—both full of patterns, structure, and beauty.

Einstein loved playing pieces by Mozart and Bach. He admired Mozart’s simple yet elegant melodies and Bach’s complex, math-like music. He often played Mozart’s violin sonatas and Bach’s fugues, finding joy and peace in their harmonies.
