Yes, I am the Baby Sign lady and an early intervention teacher. The days are long, but the years are short.
Gosh, time is such a weird thing. Those sleepless nights and trying to figure out why my baby is crying feel like just yesterday, but also a lifetime ago 😵💫
When both my babies could finally sign and then speak to tell me what was wrong was a godsend. If you're currently there and looking for a way to proactive lymphoma help yourself and your baby, I really do recommend learning yo sign. As a mum, and professional it is hands down the most helpful tool you can put in your parenting toolkit (along with a dedication to improving your self-regulation and the ability to let go).

Such a great book by Margaret Mayo and has been a favourite of both my kids, and many kids I have worked with over the years. Grab yourself a copy... the other great thing about this book that I didnt mention in the Reel is that it also has a great bedtime ending with all the trucks resting all night.... ssshhh 🤫

This is easily the most common misconception about sign language... that there is just 1 sign language. NOPE! There are hundreds. Ms Rachel has done a fantastic job raising awareness of language development in young children, but still most people dont know she uses ASL - American Sign Language.
In Australia, we use Auslan - Australian Sign Language. And as you can see from this little video, the signs are quite different 🫶
