Building social connections at Team Up Tuesday

Photos from Equally U's post 18/06/2026

Social connections can be hard for people who are neurodivergent. EquallyU and some of our clients meet at Team Up Tuesdays at Fortress each fortnight for some game playing.

What a blast!

How much easier is it to talk to others when you are focussed on finding the person who is an only child or who collects things!!

Meeting new people, learning new skills in conversation and being curious about others.

mental health and job seeking

Photos from Equally U's post 13/06/2026

Job hunting is tough, and the constant knockbacks take a massive toll on your mental health. That’s why EquallyU recently hosted Jack Davis and his incredible "It's Cool To Cry" presentation for our job seekers.

This wasn’t your standard "stay positive" talk. Jack gave our group practical, real-world tools to add to their emotional toolboxes:

The "Core 3":Identifying three specific people to lean on when things get heavy.
The Language of Feelings: Getting the vocabulary to actually explain what’s going on in your head.

Managing the Noise: Fresh ways to process heavy emotions instead of burning out.
Resilience isn't about pretending everything is fine—it's about protecting your energy so you can bounce back.

Massive shoutout to Jack for creating such a warm, open space. Knowing how to manage your mind is your biggest asset! We highly recommend reaching out to Jack Davis for workplace mental health presentations that truly land. 💙
