What a truly special evening we shared and we celebrated Nido Seaford’s 4th Birthday alongside our Twilight Market.

A huge thank you to all our families, children, educators, vendors and community members who joined us. It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the stalls, delicious food and spending time together as a community.

Over the past 4 years, we have been privileged to be part of so many children’s learning journeys and we are grateful for the trust and partnership of our families. We look forward to creating many mote wonderful memories together.

“Why do leaves change colour?”

An inquiry provocation in Classroom two this week, sparked from curiosity about the recent changes in weather.

Noticing and questioning changes around us in the natural environment helps us build connection to Country.

Through this provocation we also explore our STEM learning branch of our new Nido Infant and Toddler curriculum. If you would like to see our purpose built curriculum in action, please book a tour below ⬇️

Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming our families to a beautiful and engaging Kinder Information Night at Nido Seaford. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to gain a deeper understanding of our Kindergarten program, connect with our ECTs, and explore the meaningful learning experiences that support children throughout their early years journey.

A heartfelt thank you to our passionate Kinder teachers, Sahil and Asa, for sharing their knowledge, value and vision for our Kindergarten program. Families were given an insight into the Nido Kinder Curriculum, including how we support children’s confidence, independence, creativity, social development, and school readiness through everyday experiences.

Throughout the evening, families also had the opportunity to learn more about how children are encouraged to become active participants in their learning, build strong relationships and develop the skills needed for a successful transition to primary school.

We would also like to sincerely thank Belvedere Park Primary School, St. Anne Primary School for attending the evening and spending time with our families and ECTs. Your support and insights into the transition to school journey were incredibly valuable and appreciated by our community.

Event like this remind us how important strong partnership between families, educators and schools are in supporting children to thrive. Thank you again to everyone who joined us and made the evening so meaningful.

Today our children had the wonderful opportunity to welcome the SES team to our service! 🚨

Through hands-on experiences, meaningful conversations, and real-life demonstrations, the children explored how the SES helps keep our community safe during emergencies and challenging weather events. The visit sparked curiosity, wonder, and thoughtful discussions as children asked questions, shared ideas, and learned about teamwork, helping others, and community responsibility.

Inspired by our philosophy, the experience encouraged the children to connect with the world around them, building knowledge through authentic interactions and relationships within our wider community.

A huge thank you to our local SES volunteers for taking the time to visit and inspire our young learners. We are so grateful for all that you do to keep our community safe!

Our Mother’s Day Morning Tea was a beautiful celebration of connection, creativity, and community

Children enjoyed spending time with their special people creating flower bouquets together, carefully selecting and arranging blooms with thought and care. Moments like these reflect the heart of our Reggio inspired environment — where relationships, collaboration, and shared experiences are deeply valued.

Families were also invited to enjoy a nourishing morning tea featuring our housemade granola and yoghurt bar, creating a relaxed space to gather, connect, and celebrate the important people in our children’s lives.

For those families unable to attend, special experience bags were made so they could enjoy
A moment of craft and creativity at home together on the weekend.
