Our menus are built around whole foods, seasonal produce and variety, giving children the nutrition they need to stay curious, energised and ready for whatever the day brings.

Positive food experiences in early childhood - trying new textures, eating together, talking about where food comes from - lay the groundwork for lifelong healthy habits.

A quick reminder as we head deeper into autumn, it’s a great time to check what’s in your child’s bag:

🧥 A warm layer or jacket
🥾 Closed in shoes and socks
👕 At least one full change of clothes
👒 A hat for those bright autumn days or beanie for the cooler days

We love getting outside in all seasons, so being prepared helps children make the most of every moment.

Today we conducted a fire drill as part of our ongoing commitment to children's safety and emergency preparedness.

Regular emergency drills help us ensure that both children and educators know what do in the event of a real emergency and allow us to regularly review and improve our procedures

Last week Milestones Ringwood welcomed John Sugden Swim School to the centre for an incursion focusing on the very important topic of water safety 💦

Coach Sarah and Coach Rachel joined us to share their knowledge and teach the children essential water safety skills through engaging discussions, demonstrations, and interactive learning. The children explored how to stay safe around water.

At our centre, we are committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that build children’s confidence, awareness, and sense of responsibility. This experience strongly aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework, supporting children’s wellbeing and helping them become informed and capable learners.

A big thank you to Coach Sarah and Coach Rachel for delivering such an engaging and valuable session — the children were captivated and learned so much! 🏊‍♀️

🌱 Our Garden is Growing! 🌸

After our recent yard refresh, the children have been loving getting involved in our new garden space!

With support from our educators, they’ve been exploring the soil, watering the plants, and learning how to care for them. It’s been a great hands-on way for the children to connect with nature and take part in caring for their environment.

These experiences are a big part of how we support children’s learning—building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and helping them develop an understanding of the world around them in a fun and meaningful way.

We’re so excited to watch our garden grow together 🌿

🦸‍♂️ Community Connections in Action! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

At Milestones Ringwood, we love building meaningful connections within our local community 💛

Recently, our wonderful neighbours at the aged care facility next door kindly created and dropped off a collection of handmade superhero capes for our children. What a thoughtful and generous gesture! ✨

The children were so excited to wear their capes, sparking imaginative play, confidence, and plenty of superhero adventures throughout the day 🦸‍♀️💫

To show their appreciation, the children created beautiful handmade thank you cards which were delivered back to our neighbours — a lovely way to give back and strengthen this special connection 🥰

Moments like these help children develop empathy, gratitude, and a strong sense of community.
