We often get asked what people should dress their children in when sending them to us for the day.

🧢 Clothing needs to be practical, comfortable, allow free movement, be sunsmart and easily manageable (e.g. pants that can be pulled down easily - no belts or braces - to assist children with fostering toileting and rest time independence)
🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️ Clothes need to be suitable for climbing and energetic activities
👟 NO slip on shoes, thongs or crocs to prevent slips and injury.

❗️Please note: any wet or soiled clothes will be rinsed and placed in a plastic bag and tied to your child’s bag and sent home for laundering.

Studs and small sleepers with secure fastenings are safer ear-rings to wear for childcare.

Our fees vary from student to student.

Costs come down to how many times per week your child attends, which room they’re in and other various outliers.

These costs do not include Childcare Benefit or Childcare Rebate subsidies.

We always welcome parents to participate in daily experiences at the Pentland Childcare and Kindergarten Centre.

Things like birthday celebrations, attending excursions as a parent helper, story reading, cooking group, playing an instrument or show and tell.

Children love having their parents/grandparents visit the centre, so we ask if you’re interested in coming in to visit that you make arrangements with your child’s Room Leader.

This procedure is in place to ensure we can avoid having too many adults in the room at once as it can sometimes be overwhelming for the kids.

The Australian Government provides financial assistance to eligible families to help cover the cost of childcare.

The main types of financial assistance families may be eligible for are:
