Mt Hira College ELC is a state-of-the-art early learning center. Our ELC provides care to children who are six weeks to five years of age. We recognise the early years as a time of exploration. Each child is supported to develop their unique capabilities and a love of learning.
Our ELC kinder program is further enhanced by a range of specialist programs, including Gymbaroo, Languages other than English (LOTE), Values Education and HeyDee Ho.
The Centre is beautifully furnished and resourced. We are looking for highly motivated and well-qualified educators who are supportive of the Mission, Values and Ethos of the College to join our amazing team.
Due to the continual growth of our impressive Early Learning Centre, we are now looking to hire additional dedicated and enthusiastic staff, as follows:
Diploma Qualified Educators
Certificate III Qualified Educators
Casual Educators

Key Selection Criteria & Qualifications:
Ability to deliver innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child.
Minimum 2-years' experience is highly desirable.
Current Working with Children Check
Current First-Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
Relevant industry qualifications based on the role you are applying for - E.g. Diploma or Certificate III of Children’s Services / Early Childhood Education and Care, etc.
Strong understanding of the EYLF/VEYLDF.
Knowledge and understanding of Children’s Services regulations and National Quality Standards.
Strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
Be flexible and available to work Monday to Friday on a rotational fortnightly roster.

We recognise the early years as a time of exploration. Each child is supported to develop their unique capabilities and a love of learning. Our ELC kinder program is further enhanced by a range of specialist programs, including Gymbaroo, Languages other than English (LOTE), Values Education and Hey Dee Ho (interactive health program). Early Childhood Educators' Day 2022- the team at the ELC were overwhelmed by the amazing support, gifts and messages from both the families, children and from the Mt Hira College CommuniTy. Early Childhood Educators' Day recognises and celebrates the work of Australia's educators in early learning services for their wonderful contribution to the well being and healthy development of the young children in their care. It's a chance to say thank you to Australia’s early childhood educators on a very personal level by service operators, families and their children. It was a lovely day to acknowledge the amazing team at Mt Hira College ELC.
