Every learning area is a new language. Be patient with it. Work to build the foundation strong. When it comes to Science subjects, it is the jargon/ terminology that needs to be worked upon.
Tips:
1. Create a visual glossary before starting a topic.
2. Keep adding the terms to this as you read the topics. (Realistic Goal)
3. Ensure you add a diagram/image from the web that makes the most sense to you.
4. Annotate the diagram for your own reference. Use simple analogies to link the concepts.
5. Use the new terms with your friends and family to register it in your mind.
6. Random recall: during any time of the day, try and recall the meaning of the term, give yourself a pat if you remember, and if you don't try really hard. Then refer and recall again.
Enjoy the subject. Follow social media handles that create content in that area of learning.
