We'd love to introduce Sam, our wonderful animal expert, who helps keep our beloved animal friends healthy, happy, and thriving! 💚

Sam regularly visits our service to clean and maintain Michelangelo's turtle tank, care for Loui, our lizard, and ensure our fish tank remains a clean and healthy environment for its aquatic residents. 🐢🦎🐟

Having Sam visit not only supports the well-being of our animals but also provides children with opportunities to learn about responsible pet care, respect for living creatures, and the importance of maintaining healthy habitats. We are so grateful for Sam's knowledge and passion for animal care! 🌿✨

Mr Zachary recently attended the Southern Melbourne Area Term 2 Early Learning Leadership Forum with our Funding Coordinator Cat, and our Sister Services, joining sector leaders for an afternoon focused on strengthening quality practice in early learning. 🌿

Hosted by the Department of Education Victoria, the forum provided updates on early childhood reform initiatives and local developments shaping the future of education. 🏫

A key highlight was a workshop led by BehaviourWorks Australia, exploring how leadership can support meaningful change and improve everyday practice across services. 🧠

The afternoon concluded with insights from Practice Coaches at Early Childhood Management Services, focusing on creating environments that strengthen intentional teaching. 🌟

There is something so peaceful about rest time outdoors. 🌿💚 Fresh air, the sounds of nature, and a calm environment help create a relaxing space where children can unwind, recharge, and wake feeling refreshed.

As part of our daily routine, children are also encouraged to pack away their own beds after rest time. 🛏️✨ This simple responsibility helps build independence, confidence, and a sense of ownership while developing important life skills through everyday experiences.

By combining nurturing moments of rest with opportunities for independence, we continue to support every child's wellbeing, resilience, and growing confidence. 🌞💛
