Highvale history students had the privilege of participating in the Battle for Australia Commemoration Service on the 2nd September. Held at the Shrine of Remembrance, our students brought history to life by reading moving scripts that recounted our wartime history. Students also got to meet with veterans bridging the gap between generations.

Highvale’s Library team are gearing up for an exciting week celebrating Book Week starting today through to Friday 4th September. Activities include:
• Monday - word search and sudoku challenge
• Tuesday - Kahoot online quiz
• Wednesday & Thursday - pre-loved book sales
• Friday - the finale....themed dress day
All funds raised are supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and Reading Out of Poverty Foundation.

Highvale students participated in the Monash region leadership forum recently hosted by Mount Waverley SC. Activities encouraged students to work together and explore quick thinking, communication, teamwork, problem solving and prioritising. Forums such as these are excellent opportunities for our students and future leaders to develop real world skills!👩🏻‍⚖️👩🏼‍⚖️👨🏾‍⚖️👨‍⚖️

Highvale Secondary College’s Drama club recently celebrated 3 highly successful nights performing their adaptation of Alice in Wonderland! Congratulations to all of our dedicated staff and students on bringing this absolute classic to stage with so much enthusiasm.! 🎭👏🏻🐇

Highvale’s Got Talent - Yes! ...they certainly do!
Led and organised by our student leaders, judges and fellow students were treated to a showcase of excellent performances. All entrants showed unique and individual talents and were most entertaining!!

Highvale’s school leaders were invited to attend the Spirit of Australia foundation Commemorative Service held at Parliament House Melbourne last Friday. What a privilege for them to witness this event and represent Highvale along with only a small number of schools in the state. 🧑🏽‍⚖️👩🏻‍⚖️🏢✒️

Highvale Celebrates our 49th Annual Athletics Carnival!

Students enjoyed a high-vibe day participating in our annual Athletics Carnival. Approx 900 students hit the field to participate enthusiastically across a range of track and field events. Students displayed school spirit, high energy and great sportsmanship!
Congratulations to Bunjil House, who won the day on 1361 points 🔵🥇🏃🏆🎽
