My story

Ciao a tutti! E benvenuti nella mia pagina! :)

My name is Giovanna, I come from Italy and I arrived here in Australia few years ago... precisely the 3rd of May 2014... and it was love at the first sight!

I’m very passionate about life, especially a Healthy life.. I love cooking, exercise and look after myself... I’m a curious traveller, I try to grab all the good things that there are in this world!

Since I arrived in this beautiful “Land of Opportunities” I soon realized that I could do something for helping people to achieve the life they wanted... I was a Personal Trainer in Italy and considering my study were not recognized here I started study again... and I started working on my own project.

The “Perbacco Project”... Perbacco is an Italian expression to accentuate positive comments, delight, pleasure and surprise!

Like for example:

Perbacco, che fortuna!
Gosh, what luck!

And it is fully family-friendly, so you can use it in front of anyone from your kids to your in-laws to your nonna without fear of giving offence.

But, Perbacco word can be seen also from another perspective: as contraction of 'per Bacco', or 'by Bacchus', it can be translated in English as “by Jove!” … but while Anglophones go for the king of the Gods, Italians on the other hand turn to the God of Wine, of course!

So, here I am with this big project in my hands: I would like to transmit my big passion for my Traditional cuisine, spread in the community healthy habits that will help people to have a better life combining food, fun, social events.

ITALIAN COOKING CLASSES: I would like to teach how Italians eat and how we cook simple, delicious and home made food!

WINE-ACTIVE: why don’t combine the passion for the food and wine with some active experiences? I would like to bring you in some beautiful hidden non-touristy places of Victoria and enjoy some particular food and refined wine!

WINERY TOURS IN ITALY FOR AUSTRALIANS... I know, this is probably the biggest dream of my life... the biggest I have ever had the courage to dream... but a dream doesn’t become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work... and I am ready for this!
